Foot patrol (17/07/2026)

Rick's near 4-hour spell on the ward today included after-school patrols as well as coverage around Rush Green's Parish Fields (5.77 miles).

Joined by Becontree SNT's PCSO, George, to see out Eastbrook School as they headed into the summer holiday, Dagenham Road and Rainham Road South were patrolled.

Rick was once again on hand to disappoint the students who were expecting him to have a gun and/or Taser.

After seeing off George, Rick ventured on to Parish Fields via the Foxlands Crescent 'tree tunnel' and Footpath 18 (12.48pm, p), stopping off at the riding school en route.

All of the Parish Fields was covered, including Foxglove Road (1.13pm) and Lupin Close (2.38pm, p).

Great Cullings (2.46pm) and Eastbrook Drive (p) also saw a presence, along with The Chase.
